We will discover one of the most essential areas of Barcelona and enjoy the best panoramic views from the Montjuic Mountain. We will get to know the old fishermen’s neighborhood in Barceloneta and the Eixample’s urbanism, while going through one of the most famous streets in the city: Gràcia Promenade, and its modernist houses.
With this panoramic visit, we will have a global vision of the city and we will include the area of the Olympic Ring and the Montjuic Mountain, where we will stop to enjoy the spectacular view of the city as well as see some of the most emblematic buildings in the area: the Venetian Towers, Catalonia’s National Art Museum, the Olympic Stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi and the Miró Foundation.
We will discover the Seafront area and it’s views to the Mediterranean, and will see the Monument in homage to Columbus, as well as Mariscal’s Prawn sculpture, the Lichtenstein abstract sculpture and the fishermen neighborhood in Barceloneta in all its idiosyncrasy and peculiarity.
We will get to know the Eixample neighborhood, and it’s elegance, born from the urbanistic changes in the XIX century, and walk through Gràcia Promenade (the old street that connected Barcelona with the town of Gràcia) to see the facades of the main modernist houses in the city: Batlló House, Amatller House, Lleó i Morera House and Milà House.
