Barcelona in Context manages ticketing, events, and shows at three of Barcelona’s landmark monuments: the Palau de la Música Catalana, La Casa de la Seda, and Park Güell. Our team handles visitor access and ticket sales and coordinates the events and performances that form part of each venue’s programme.

Two landmark interiors under full visitor-operation management, and the official guided visits of Gaudí’s garden city — each with its own logic, each run by our team on the ground.
Palau de la Música Catalana
Built by Lluís Domènech i Montaner between 1905 and 1908 as the home of the Orfeó Català, the Palau is the only concert hall inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list — and it is still a working concert hall first. Concerts, rehearsals and private events share the building with over half a million visitors a year.
We run the visit operation that reconciles those demands: guided visits scheduled around the artistic calendar, multilingual guide teams trained on the building and its protocols, and visitor flow that respects both the music and the mosaics. It is also where our story began — our founder started as a guide at the Palau.

The last guild house of its kind in Europe still in the hands of its guild: the seat of Barcelona’s silk masters since the eighteenth century, with its gilded main hall and collections intact. An interior that is intimate, fragile and unlike anything else in the city.
We operate its public openings, private visits and events — including theatrical visits that bring the silk trade to life with costumed guides — at a different scale from the Palau, to the same standard.

Gaudí’s garden city, built for Eusebi Güell between 1900 and 1914 and a World Heritage site since 1984. Access to the Monumental Zone has been regulated since 2013 to protect it, with entries capped by the hour — which makes the quality of every visit matter even more.
Our licensed guides deliver the park’s official guided-visit programme — the dragon stairway, the hypostyle hall, the serpentine bench — in several languages, at the scale of an open-air monument.

Regular visits are the public, scheduled openings of each monument — the visits anyone can join with a ticket, no private booking required. Every visit gives the historical, artistic and human context of the place: not just what you are seeing, but why it exists and what it meant to the city that built it.
Timetables and tickets are published through each site’s own channels, which we operate. They run in English, Spanish and Catalan, led by licensed Official Guides of Catalonia. Write to us with your date and language and we will confirm current schedules and availability.
