№ 01

We don’t just guide monuments, we manage them.

Most tour companies visit Barcelona’s heritage. We are trusted to operate it: Barcelona in Context manages scheduled public visits, guide teams and visitor services at the Palau de la Música Catalana — the only concert hall inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage — and at La Casa de la Seda, the last guild house of its kind in Europe.

That institutional experience is what our private clients feel in every tour: rigorous interpretation, calm logistics and real access. It is also why travel agencies, cruise operators, hotels and cultural institutions work with us year after year.

Questions, answered

What makes Barcelona in Context different from marketplace tours?
Three things: our guides are all licensed Official Guides of Catalonia; every tour is private and built around your group rather than a fixed script; and we are the company monument boards trust to run their own public visits — including the Palau de la Música Catalana, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You book directly with the local team that will actually deliver your visit.
How much does a private tour of Barcelona cost?
Every private tour is quoted individually, with the figure depending on your group size, the itinerary and any monument entries included — always as a clear, all-in price before you commit. Send us a request and we reply personally with a proposal.
How do I book a tour?
Send us the request form on any tour page, or write to us with your dates, group size and interests. We reply personally, normally within one working day, with a proposal and price. Nothing is charged until the itinerary is agreed.
Do you arrange monument tickets?
Yes. Where a tour lists entries as included — Sagrada Família, Park Güell, the Picasso Museum — we book timed tickets in advance so your group skips the lines. For custom itineraries we arrange every entry the plan needs.
