How do we get to Montserrat?

The excursion is designed door-to-door from Barcelona. Depending on your group and preference we arrange private transport, or combine the drive with the rack railway or cable car ascent — the approach is part of the experience. We confirm the transport plan when you book.

Will we see La Moreneta?

Yes — visiting the Black Madonna is part of the itinerary. Access involves a short queue that moves steadily; your guide times the visit to avoid the largest crowds.

Can we hear the Escolania boys’ choir?

The Escolania sings in the basilica at set times on most days, but not every day. If hearing them matters to you, tell us when booking and we will plan the day around a singing time when possible.

Is the visit physically demanding?

No — the monastery complex is walkable and mostly level. Optional short hikes to viewpoints or hermitages can be added for groups who want them; the standard visit suits all ages.
